Meet the Team

Maria is the practice owner at Bramcote Dental Practice. She graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine with a first-class honours degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania.

After graduating, Maria completed a training course in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She also has an interest in restorative dentistry.

Maria is passionate about offering the best treatment in both NHS and private dentistry. She welcomes all patients and has a friendly approach to help them feel at ease in her care. Maria loves getting to know her patients, building relationships with them as she helps look after their oral health.

In her free time, Maria loves literature, music and films.

Maria works on Thursday and Friday.

Dan qualified from the University of Dental Medicine, Bucharest, with a first-class honours degree in 2024. He joined the team at Bramcote Dental in April 2025.

Dan loves combining modern dental techniques with a supportive practice environment to ensure every patient receives the best possible treatment and a high level of satisfaction.

He is passionate about restorative and aesthetic dentistry, focusing on conservative techniques and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

In his free time, Dan loves to spend quality time with his daughter and wider family.

Dan offers both NHS and private dentistry at Bramcote Dental, and works Monday to Friday.

Mirela qualified from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila, Bucharest, in 2012, and joined the team at Bramcote in September 2021.

Mirela has a passion for restorative dental work, and enjoys performing root canal treatments to help get her patients out of pain. She also loves meeting new patients.

Outside of work, Mirela enjoys reading all kinds of literature, from novels to medical publications, articles and magazines. She also has a keen interest in photography and loves both classical and modern music. Mirela is also interested in basketball and enjoys exercising in order to stay healthy.

Mirela works Monday to Friday

Silviya qualified from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2003, and has been working as a dentist in Somerset since 2007.

She joined Bramcote Dental Practice in 2015 and is a skilled dentist who enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them smile with her high standards of bespoke care. Silviya particularly enjoys the problem-solving and creative nature of her job.

Outside of work, Silviya enjoys swimming & pilates, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves enjoying nature and her garden.

Katherine graduated with a BSc in Dental Therapy and Hygiene from the University of Portsmouth in 2014. She has worked at Bramcote Dental Practice since March 2022.

Katherine previously lived and worked as a hygienist in Australia before returning to the UK. She has a friendly approach, and enjoys helping her patients achieve and maintain the best possible oral health.

Katherine works Monday to Friday.

Terry has been working at the practice since 2012 and enjoys being part of the team. Outside of work, Terry enjoys anything to do with cars and eating out.

Nikki joined Bramcote Dental Practice in 2018. She really enjoys her role, particularly making a real difference to people’s lives. She gets job satisfaction from educating patients about their oral health, making them feel at ease when they are in the practice, and having trust in our amazing team!

In her spare time, Nikki loves reading and walking, as well as spending time at her caravan.

Sue joined the practice in 2020 and enjoys every aspect of working there. This includes being part of the great team. She also likes interacting with the patients and making them feel comfortable. She also has an interest in the decontamination side of nursing.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys looking after her very unique dog, doing up motorhomes, gardening, and growing her own veg!

Flo joined our practice in February 2025 and completed her integrated apprenticeship in dental nursing in 2025.

Flo loves being able to support patients and help them feel comfortable and confident about their dental health. She finds it really rewarding to know she is making a positive difference with her work.

Outside of work, Flo enjoys staying active at the gym or out in nature, exploring new places, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Jane started working for Bramcote Dental Practice as a trainee nurse in 2008 & qualified in 2011. Jane enjoys all aspects of dental nursing & finds it particularly rewarding to work with anxious children, making them feel as comfortable as possible during their dental experience.

Outside of work, Jane loves spending time with her two young grandsons & her family. She also enjoys reading & going to the cinema.

Lily joined Bramcote Dental Practice in August 2024 and is currently studying Dental Nursing at Yeovil College. Lily enjoys all aspects of her role, but finds great satisfaction in seeing happy patients. It’s particularly satisfying when a patient who has come in with pain or who was unhappy with their oral health has treatment with them and leaves the practice happy and full of smiles!

Outside of work, Lily loves to keep active, as well as music and photography.

Saffron started nursing in 2017 and qualified in her NEBDN in 2020. She joined Bramcote Dental Practice in 2022 and loves working as part of the team. She particularly enjoys helping others, including her teammates and patients. She trains new colleagues who want to pursue careers in dental nursing and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience to assist people.

In her spare time, Saffron enjoys spending time with her family and two young children, and she also knits as a hobby.

Georgia qualified with a City & Guilds Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. She joined the team in September 2025.

Georgia loves helping patients with their journey through dental surgery, whether that be helping a dental exam go as smoothly as possible, making children feel more at home with laughs and stickers, or being supportive and encouraging during treatments.

Away from work, Georgia loves being outdoors. She enjoys taking her dog for walks around the village and exploring mountains and valleys during hikes in the beautiful surroundings the UK has to offer.

Lucy joined the practice in November 2021 and loves being part of the team. She particularly enjoys ensuring that the dental practice is well-organised and well-led, that the team is happy, and that the patients are comfortable and safe.

Outside of work, Lucy loves spending time with her family and friends and walking her dog.

Anne joined the practice in 2022 and particularly enjoys working as part of the great team at Bramcote Dental Practice. She enjoys helping the patients and making sure they have a good experience. She also enjoys the flexibility of her hours worked.

Anna has many interests outside of work, including cooking, travelling, and gardening, and she loves cats!

Judy has been our friendly face greeting patients as they arrive since 2023. She is always ready to help answer questions and make everyone feel at ease.

Judy loves working as part of such a friendly team at Bramcote Dental Practice.

Outside of work, Judy enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.

Paula joined Bramcote Dental Practice in 2002 and brings with her a wealth of experience to the team. She particularly loves meeting the patients and making sure they have a good experience at the dental practice.

Christine joined the team back in 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to the practice. She loves the variation of the role and takes great pleasure in meeting all the different people who attend the practice.

Outside of work, Chris loves seeing family and friends and gardening.

Fiona has been with the practice since 1998 and loves her role. She particularly enjoys meeting the patients and helping them in any way she can to make their visit to the practice as pleasant as possible.

Outside of the practice, Fiona loves anything to do with theatre productions!
