The duration of dentures treatment varies, depending on the complexity of each case. Typically, a number of appointments are required to complete your dentures, including a consultation, impressions, try-in, fitting and review.

Clean your false teeth daily by brushing your denture with a non-abrasive cleanser and soft brush. It’s also important to keep your gums and any remaining teeth clean and healthy. Your dentures should also be removed at night and stored in water or denture fluid to prevent them drying out and help maintain their shape.

Start with soft foods cut into very small pieces and remember to chew slowly, using both sides of your mouth equally. This balancing technique is essential to prevent your dentures from tipping until you become fully accustomed to them and can return to your normal diet.

Minor irritation or pressure spots are quite common initially. Please inform your dentist, who can easily adjust the denture surface to relieve the discomfort. If the irritation becomes very painful, you should stop wearing the denture immediately and contact your dentist for an urgent appointment.

New dentures can temporarily change your speech, making some words challenging to pronounce. You can help improve this by reading out loud and repeatedly saying any words you find difficult. You will be speaking confidently again before long.
